Making room for the eternal in a busy world.

Spiritual Formation involves transformation from an individual’s current condition into greater Christlikeness, achieved by making space for God in one’s life. God utilizes any space He is given to shape individuals in the likeness of His Son. The greater the space made available, the more opportunities God has to perform His work of transformation.

Glen has been in vocational ministry for over 35 years; 23 as a pastor and 12 as a chaplain in the Canadian Armed Forces. Along with his wife, he has made Halifax, NS, home, but has also lived and ministered in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Glen is a member of the Tyndale Association of Spiritual Directors and is currently working towards a Certified Spiritual Director designation.
Spiritual direction is a work of the Holy Spirit for people who want to see God in their daily lives.
It is about making space for God.
The aim is to assist in both clarification and discernment.
It involves sitting down regularly with a spiritual director to examine, adjust, and recommit to the disciplines that give substance to one’s journey.
Spiritual direction is not therapy, nor is it the giving of advice. It is a relationship in which two people seek God together, experiencing growth in their relationship with God and discovering the hand of God in places they might not otherwise look.
